What is OCR CLAIT Suite?
Certificate/Diploma for IT Users (new CLAIT) Level 1
This qualification is designed to give learners the basic IT skills required to meet the demands in the workplace. The qualification is recognised as a level 1 qualification. There are 8 units available from which students may choose
- Unit 1 File Management and e-document Production
- Unit 2 Creating Spreadsheets and Graphs
- Unit 3 Database Manipulation
- Unit 4 Publication Creation
- Unit 5 Create an e-Presentation
- Unit 6 e-Image Creation
- Unit 7 Web Page Creation
- Unit 8 Online Communication
To achieve the overall level 1 Certificate for IT Users (new CLAIT) users must complete Unit 1 plus any 2 other units.
To achieve the overall level 1 Diploma for IT Users (new CLAIT) users must complete Unit 1 plus any 4 other units.
All units are assessed by means of practical assignments under examination conditions.
